The look of the church was to be a very large contemporary new building, and it needed to have the feel of a traditional styled church. The outside courtyard gave it the feel of an old piazza, and the courtyard is very similar to European churches.

St. Mark's Parish Committee had interviewed quite a few liturgical arts firms both from here and abroad and chose St. Jude Liturgical Arts, for their presentation, which succeeded in showing the parishioners what their new church would look like in a virtual 3D presentation prior to construction.

We provided liturgical art design for the new sanctuary, including new sanctuary floor and reredos. Also, we provided all new metalware, a brand new bronze St. Mark Statue and all of the interior statuary, including the Stations of the Cross with frames.

St. Jude complemented classical architecture and the large sanctuary to frame a place of devotion for the Blessed Sacrament. The cruciform styled church really proved to work well for the people as it was able to provide places of devotion for their favorite Saints. Fourteen shrines were built along the apse including a beautiful side cupola for the Stations.

You can see in the pictures that, even though the church is brand new with contemporary features, it really has the feel of classically styled church architecture.
