Over the years, mosaic has been a traditional medium used to tell a story. This lost art form has been resurrected and can be seen in many of our recent projects. Using micro mosaic techniques, St. Jude Liturgical Arts Studio recently completed, in conjunction with Rugo Studios, a mosaic shrine at the Basilica of the National Shrine in Washington, DC. Whether it be capturing the feeling and detail of a face for a saint, or duplicating an original classical piece such as the Risen Christ located in the church of SS. Cosmos and Damian in Rome, or creating a background of a sunset to be used for a crucifix, our mosaic studios are ready to take on any of your special requests.
